THE SHORT STORY

KTI Screen Prince, the parent company of MytCORP Software Company, was founded in 1978.

Under a business partnership T-Shirts were sold at the U.S. Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Watkins Glen, NY and official T-Shirt licensing was secured for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.  All design work and screen printing was contracted out.

Following several successes (and a few failures) the partnership was dissolved.  Koala-T International, as then named, added the full race schedule at the Watkins Glen circuit plus the Indianapolis 500 mile race and the Experimental Aircraft Association International Fly-In at Osh Kosh.

In 1980, manual screen printing equipment was purchased and our screen printing education began.  Contracting of the design and screen printing continued for all but an occasional  basic job.  The first IBM™ personal computer was marketed in late 1981 and sparked our interest.  In 1984, after a contractor poorly printed our Indy 500™ shirts,  KTI Screen Prince, now a badly needed entity, became reality.

Promotional products were added to our line in 1986.  As the business continued growing, a larger facility was secured at the current location in Carthage, NY.  An  M+R eight color Gauntlet automatic T-Shirt printer was purchased in 1996 and In-house embroidery equipment in 1997.

During the past 23 years our education in computers has closely paralleled the knowledge gained in decorating garments.  Several voids in the business of screen printing were noted.

One of these voids, the lack of easily creating and modifying Price Sheets for the Screen Printing shop was addressed.  The result, born on the 4th of July, is MytPrice™.
